Life Answers

To life today I write,
A glimpse of the ordeal I fight,
Nested in the woods or lamented in the dark,
Stuck in the traffic or walking in the park,
Feeding your pet dog or bitten by the shark,
Life refuses to answer where I stand or have fallen before the mark.

Have an abundance, life says to me, but only of one,
Take love or take wealth, or both I shun.
Happiness comes with both, but of different sorts,
And an excess want of any, may find you reeling in the courts.

Life is an entangled mystery say most,
But life replies, its as easy as the sea and the coast,
Its your choice to lay peacefully and relax on the coast,
Or take your surfboard into the sea and make life your host.

Its always easy being on the coast watching the surfers fail,
But they forget unknowingly that only do the surfers sail.

Teri Yaad

Main rahoon ya na rahoon is jahan mein,
Teri hasi ki baarish meherban rahegi,
Main gum bhi ho jaun pyaar ke karwan mein,
Teri yaadon ki lehren, mujhe saath le kar bahegi.

Tune maanga tha ek din mujhse pyaar ka hisaab,
Lagta hai ab wo udhari mere saath hi chalegi,
Bohot khali jagah thi mere aashiyane mein,
Nahi pata tha yahan dard aur khamoshi palegi.

Hawa ban kar udata tha tere baalon ko,
Chup ke se aa ke chum leta tha tere gaalon ko,
Par ab hawa paani sab dushman hain mere,
Main to yahin hun, par wo roz ja kar chu lete hain chehre ko tere.

Teri yaadon ki chadar mein lipta hun main,
Teri zulfon ke saaye mein kahin to zinda hun main,
Jee uthega yeh dil jab tera deedar hoga,
Warna aaj kal maut se bhi sharminda hun main.

Teri Duniya

Is dil mein jo hai chupa main kisi se na kehta,
Agar mere har kadam mein tu aks ban ke rehta,
Maine har safa bhul ke tujhe chaha tha,
Kaash tu bhi pyaar ke dariya mein saahil ban ke behta.

Maine is duniya se door banai hai ek duniya,
Jahan aaj bhi tera hi raaj chalta hai,
Jahan teri muskurahat se loha pighalta hai,
Jahan tere aane ki aahat se hawa ka rukh badalta hai,
Jahan sooraj tere kehne pe ugta hai aur tere ishare pe hi dhalta hai.

Jahan tere liye duniya ke har phool ki mahak hai,
Jahan bijli ka girna bhi tere krodh ki dahak hai,
Jahan ka kanoon tere dil ki aawaaz hai,
Jahan teri khushiyan hi us duniya ka aagaz hai.

Par aaj wo duniya kuch viraan si lagti hai,
Usmein rehne wale ki aankhen din raat chalakti hai,
Use intezar hai apni rani ka,
Jo likh de sunehra ant, is jadui kahani ka.
